NBA: Playoff Time

This is going to be a great series. I think it will go to 7.

I think the Spurs will win in 5. They score very easily and the Thunder are a jumpshooting team which leads to trouble against a pretty good Spurs defense and coaching staff.

Huh? They needed an 18-3 run in the 4th to win the first game of the series in their own arena by one possession. I'm not saying OKC will win, but I didn't see anything in this first game that would suggest they're miles better than OKC.
That being said, how the refs call the game will definitely contribute to how many games this is going to go..

If this series doesn't go 6 or 7 games, color me ULTRA EXTREMELY LARGELY ENTIRELY surprised

Outside of Ginobli, the spurs didn't play that well. The end wasn't as close as the final score indicated. The 4th quarter and the second half overall is when the spurs play their best. That is 19 wins in a row. Tied for 3rd best wins in a row in the playoffs all time. It looked pretty clear this game they are the better team. Just look at the passing and assists.

Okay.. Spurs had 4 more assists and 3 more turnovers than OKC. So the Spurs didn't bring their A game aside from Ginobli? Okay, neither did OKC. OKC was shooting lights out in the first half? Okay, and the Spurs weren't shooting lights out in the 4th? Again, I'm not seeing anything that makes me believe SA is light years better than OKC.

Light years? By no means. But I saw enough to believe they are the better team. Doesn't mean that can't change. Many games left to play.

Yeah tonight, we got a vintage Manu performance, and S Jax coming in and making life hard for KD.

I really thought that we might see Dejuan Blair, since he has done well against OKC all year. But Tiago Splitter (in my best Stephen A. Smith/Daffy Duck voice) was huge with his effort to start the fourth quarter, airballed freethrows aside.

OKC had every chance tonight. The Spurs were thrown off by their length and quickness and athleticism. It was a gritty win by a team that hadn't really had to fight too hard for the last six weeks.

I said before that I thought OKC could win 4 games against my Spurs, but they really needed this one tonight.

Adjustments are what wins playoff series, and Pop does that as well as anyone ever. Spurs in 6...

PS, Tonight reminded me of how I STILL HATE DEREK FISHER...

Want Miami to win but Rays tech there was complete bs. He did nothing wrong except react. Ive seen way worse on your basic foul calls.

All flopping discussions begin and end with Derek Fisher. If jumping backwards and sliding on your butt ever becomes an Olympic Sport, team USA is a lock for the gold as long as that man walks the Earth.

Round 1: Argentina vs. USA

I'd have to give it to Argentina for also managing to throw up what appears to be a jump shot as they are flopping backwards.
