NBA: Playoff Time

did anyone see Noah turn his ankle. that was nasty.

yeah and of course espn has to show it 20 times for freaks who get off watching that crap. Total meltdown by the Bulls tonight I don't care about injuries we had a 13 point 4th quarter lead. I think the now that the Bulls will NEVER win another championship. Our young pieces are injury prone and our aging vets will just get older.

This is a very over dramatic post, but the Bulls weren't going to be getting by Miami anytime soon any way so the injuries aren't the only reason they won't be winning a title in the next few years.

its really sad to see the good guys of the league getting injuries this season

even Amare and his hand? :twitcy::eek::swoon:

When I saw Noah go down, I first thought he shot himself in the foot with those stupid 6-shooters of his. Those are even dumber than Jason Terry running down the court last year with arms wide open like he's flying. Congrats for making a wide open 15-ft jumper Joakim. Please just go back and defend now.

I agree. I am a huge bulls fan, and they are really good when healthy, but in a 7 game series, Miami would win the whole series 9 out of 10 times. Time to hang up the hats on this season. Rose and Deng are going to be out until at least Christmas next season, which also sucks.

I would love to see the Bulls somehow get rid of Boozer. He's soft, disappears at times, and is overpaid.

Even before the injuries I thought this team was missing something.

Bulls are for sure out now. Such a shame, the 76ers got spanked in game 1 and the injury totally depleted them.

Also aside from the injuries the officiating in this game and the playoffs is horrible. The no call when Boozer got hammered going to the basket down 2 late in the game was total ********. It's hard enough to win 5 on 5 but even harder when it's 8 on 5.

The frustrating thing is, they had the $ freed up, and it was probably the right decision to get him if he was really the best available.

I will say, the no call on him getting face raked by two 76ers and then the ticky tack 10 seconds later was just atrocious today. 4 point swing in a 2 point game. They again did not play well, but that series of events was a huge WTF.

What the team needs more than anything is a second player who can make their own shot at an elite level. Deng can never quite be that guy. In terms of defense and passing they're excellent and incredibly deep. Deep enough that they should probably trade 1-3 of those defenders if they can get a guy who can create offense.

Anyone else excited about the Heat and Pacers in round 2? As a longtime Indy fan I'm biased, but I think that their depth and frontcourt size will pose problems for Miami. I'll still take the Heat in 6, but they're going to have to work harder than most fans expect.

Not excited but I'll be rooting like hell for Indy. Denver is throttling LA tonight and there will be a game 7. Ty Lawson was a freak tonight.

Very excited! I can't see them winning the series against the Heat, but I think it will be very competitive.

This entire year has been great. Having 5 or 6 guys who can go off at a given time is way better then a few years ago when the team was basically Danny Granger and then everyone else.

Its gonna be a fun series. I wonder how long it'll take Granger to get ****** off at Lebron.

It has been a lot of fun, but my concern is that their greatest strength is also their greatest weakness - no closer or go to guy. It's all scoring by committee or whoever has the hot hand. Who do they get the ball to when they need a bucket in the final moments? It's a problem that reared its ugly head in Game 1 against Orlando.

Still, I'm pumped to see the Pacers in the spotlight for once this year. For a young team that puts a lot of points on the board, the NBA has done a **** poor job of showcasing them.

Clippers doing what Clippers do best choke. Glad to see it tired of hearing about Chris Paul and Blake Griffin is a TOOL.
