NBA: Playoff Time

Lakers didn't play that bad in the 1st half. Thunder just shot great but I thought if the shots stopped falling the Lakers could get back in it. Well the outside shots of the Thunder put a ton of pressure on the Lakers defense and now they are ROLLING. Lakers defense has been terrible. So many easy buckets given up in the 3rd qtr.

A good ol' fashioned, behind the woodshed beatdown. Love it!

I'd love to see the Thunder take it all, if for no other reason than their fans deserve it. I swear, they have better fan support than any other team in the league. Their home games have almost a college atmosphere to them, with the amount of energy displayed.

Amen. Every other arena will have a quarter of the fans in Lakers purple, but not here, it's all blue.

When the Thunder hit their jump shots like they are tonight they are virtually unstoppable

Haha I never thought about that... If OKC wins this year, Fish will have one more ring than Kobe... Good stuff

True..I'd say OKC and Memphis have much better fans by a long shot..with Memphis out, I'm cheering for OKC. If Chicago was still in it, I would be cheering against them every single game. They are scary.

Tonight's slate of games looks pretty good. I expect the Pacers to steal one with Bosh out, and the Spurs to handle the Clippers. The Chris Paul vs. Tony Parker PG matchup will be compelling stuff, but Vinny del Negro is hopelessly overmatched against Popovich.

OKC is now the team to beat. That was the best any NBA team has played all season.

Wonder how Miami would do if they lost LeBron and Bosh. That's what happened to the East team that won more basketball games than they did.

NBA playoffs start tomorrow. Who's everyone's pick for the finals?

I'll go with Miami - San Antonio, with Miami in 7.

This is one of the most wide-open playoffs that I can remember. I think whoever wins the Memphis- SA second round series comes out of the West.

A wide open playoffs but you pick the two prohibitive favorites.

Second round has started - anyone want to throw out their revised picks for the Finals? I'll take the Spurs over the Heat in 6. San Antonio is catching a Clips team that is banged up and coming off a tough seven game series. If they take care of business and take LA out in five, then they'll be fresh for OKC or the Lakers. In the East, the Pacers and Sixers are too inexperienced and lack star power, and the Celts are just too damn old.

I can't pick against the Thunder after watching them play last night. As for the East, I have to go with the Heat. The Celtics might not make it past Philly and they are the only team in the east that I think can down the heat. For the finals I'm gonna go with the Thunder in 6.
