NBA: Playoff Time

I love this Sixer team. They almost just play a college game. I know they likely won't win the series but man are they fun to watch. I could see Royce fitting in there but my guess is they draft a shooter.

I could definitely deal with a Pacers-Sixers ECF.

I love it. They played the worst half of basketball I've ever seen. Worse than any McDermott half. Then turn it around to beat Boston.

LOL at Wilbon, Magic, and the white guy at half saying the game was over.

PS I think the Sixers are gonna draft a big man, I've been hoping for Royce.

With the way Philly has done Craig I hope Royce doesn't end up there.

Craig got the shaft because they are so deep at his position. He never really had a chance. I don't know if any team in the league is deep at Royce's "position" since it's so different.

70 free throws. 42 to 28 in favor of the lakers. Damn.

Refs were bad. All series they let guys hold each other and let Perkins set moving screens, than they call chippy fouls. That one on Harden was terrible. He barely touched Kobe and Kobe didn't even flop

How often do you win the turnover battle by 6, score 12 more points on field goals, and still lose? Probably happens once a decade.

I always say people who don't think the NBA plays defense can't do simple math. In addition to their inability to realize the 24 second shot clock and 48 minute game create a ton more scoring...the players are just WAY better shooters. Not only was LA 41 of 42 from the line, but OKC was 26 of 28. 41-26 is a common final score for a Wisconsin game.

We generally underestimate the talent jump in the NBA. For example, I forgot that Cole Aldrich was on the Thunder roster until I read through the DNP's this morning.

Without solid defense, the 24-second clock and 48-minute games should probably create a lot more scoring, like 120-115 routine matchups.

Watching the speed of the switching and so on is really remarkable. I'm still almost willing to watch more NBA games next year.
