I'm a sprinklerfitter and don't understand how a pipe just broke up there. Did something fall on it?
Haven't you been paying attention to the men's basketball program the last couple days? The sky is falling.

Looks like it's Howard Middle School sitting in 213 tomorrow. Tough break for the youngsters, but from what I remember of MS I'd have taken a sopping-wet-sewage-smelling-seat at a basketball game over being at school every single time.I feel sorry for the poor schlubs that sit in section 213.
For the women's or men's game? If it's the women's hopefully there will be enough room to move them to a different section.Looks like it's Howard Middle School sitting in 213 tomorrow. I doubt it's the sprinkler system. I would guess the system be a dry system. Regardless that doesn't seem like much fun. Alot to clean up
Thats where all the air handling systems, mechanical and electrical stuff is at. It's a suspended ceiling. Bad design from the 70s.
Yeah, those I get. But there is no reason to pump water to the ceiling except for fire sprinklers.

Last year's noon Friday game had 9100 official attendance. I'd expect tomorrow to be similar. So yeah, there should be plenty of room to move them, even though they probably need a large block of seats together.Unless they're planning on 9,000 kids attending, there will be other seats/sections available.

Wells Fargo and Vet's Auditorium(did) both have sprinkler systems above the main floor. I imagine Hilton has to have them because of the acoustic roof.Would sprinklers be effective up there for fire suppression?
Time to tear down Hilton and start over.
Fair point. And for penance:You shut your mouth. We will not have any of that blasphemy around here.
I will be disappointed if someone in student section isn't dressed up as a can of flex seal tomorrow night.
On the bright side I've got plenty of cover if I hit up Chipotle for lunch that day. For the noise aspect, just need to time it out to the rhythmic clapping at timeouts. The perfect cover
Don't forget the 3-in-1 oil and some gauze pads, and about ten quarts of anti-freeze, preferably Prestone. No, no make that Quaker State.Sounds like a problem with a Fetzer valve to me. A good plumber and ball bearings should take care of it.
Women's game. This is their "field trip" game so a bunch of area schools are coming up for the game. For the women's or men's game? If it's the women's hopefully there will be enough room to move them to a different section.
