Paul Clark on KXNO

I'm all for helping out charities, but how about having them clean the stadium after games and leave food service to the professionals. They can still earn their money and cleaning up after games doesn't hold up the paying public.

Win-win.

Jamie Pollard - if you read this board...you are welcome.

Ever hear of the SALT Company? That aspect is already taken care of (or at least it was when I was attending ISU).

You don't get why I love this thread do you? Well, I'll explain in 4 mins.

yes, we do know. you've attempted to initiate some kind of slap fight with blum, clark, and a few others all in a sad little attempt to garner some attention for yourself and your show. you know, the show that is losing listeners daily... They have all already dismissed you either on here, or on their own respected sites. keep taking cheap shots at other local guys though, I think it's really going to do wonders for your career in this market :skeptical:

ever notice that you're the only local media member that trolls this and other boards attempting to bait people to talk about you/your show.

that is so sad man.

please, grow up

it is pretty well known that charity groups man the concessions. Becasue of this, you do not get people that are paid to work strictly concessions

Yes, I understand that. I used to work various concession stands with a church group, and also with Scouts.
But in every instance, the concession company would have us attend a training meeting prior to the first game, where we would go through all product assemby, cash register operation, location of supplies, etc. It's not brain surgery.
I doubt that Levy Restaurants conducted any training at all.

I just listened to the podcast of yesterday's Matt and Miller. Perrault actually had a good point that unless people on the radio or in the media are Cyclone sunshine pumpers and worship at the shrine of JP, part of this fanbase will hate them. You say the littlest thing negative and a thread is started on here. I agree with him

To be far he has earned a rep...however; pretty much every fan base has that. He just seems to have a higher level of dickishness to him. I think it is pretty telling that Tirrell gets Pollard on his show. I will listen a couple of times a week for 5-10 minutes-but once he hung up on the guy that was calling him out during the conference realignment I quit giving them much of my drive time.

All friggin fanbases are like this. He's earned his rep with ours.

I think you, and Perrault, are waaaayyyy off base.

Perrault took delight -- make that shear delight -- when he kept saying that ISU could be heading into a non-BCS conference after Nebraska and Colorado bolted for different conferences. He seemed to take great pleasure in the prospect that ISU would have to play in the MAC. He LAUGHED at that prospect. LAUGHED. Or should I say, "giggled like a school girl." Hence his nickname on here. You don't LAUGH at a situation that could have been extremely damaging. It's like laughing a funeral. The guy has no couth

That's the day I quit listening to KXNO.

I can handle truthful, unbiased criticism of ISU, and I think 99.9 percent of Cyclone fans are the same way.
