I know this is off topic, but is anyone going to any of the International Champions Cup games this summer? Pretty nice slate of games. Hope they keep this every year.

I'll be at Liverpool vs. Olympiacos @ Soldier Field in July. Should be a great time! I will be interested to see what level of talent will be playing for Liverpool as that is the team I support. The world cup will have just ended a few weeks prior so the top players will probably not be showing up, but there should be a good collection of young players to watch.

Yeah, my team is not represented in this year's collection, for good reason (relegation), but am glad to see a Greek League team in there with some top flight English and Italian clubs. Good for U.S. soccer to see these clubs come regularly.

I was really hoping Benny would make the 30. He's been playing great lately. And no Eddie Johnson?!?!

Who would you take off for Eddie though?
I'd take Eddie over Joe Corona. Regardless, I don't think he'd (EJ) make the 23 anyway, so not too concerned. It'll be interesting to see how Chandler integates back into the team.

I think I heard the total is like $90 million, I don't know how that'd be split between MLS and US Soccer though.

Out of the forwards though, Jozy has been in terrible form this season.

So Feilhaber doesn't even get a sniff? I would have him above at least 3 MF's on the list.

I haven't seen this from anywhere I trust yet, not that I don't trust you 3True, you generally bring the goods. But saw someone else mention $90mil/year. No wonder MLS was in such a hurry to get Atl and NY announced. I am recalling the current deal is somewhere under $20mil/season. So even if US soccer takes half that is still more than double what they are currently getting, and I doubt US soccer gets half.

I don't know how reputable this source is, but this was the first Google hit.

The combined deal will see MLS rights balloon from $23 million under the current deal with ESPN, NBC and Univision (which ends this year) to at least $90 per year. According to the Sports Business Daily, ESPN and Fox will pay $75 million per year for English-language rights to MLS and U.S. soccer matches. Univision will pay $15 million per year for Spanish-language rights.
