Hopefully Thomas, Burton, Holden and Bowie all get the message about how you have to play in order to see the court.

Here nor there
I'd say the "Holden experiment" is dead, and that Bowie should by coming off the bench from now on.
I'm not that down on Bowie, but I think his role should change. Imo I think he's got our best potential as a short-term mismatch guy. Not a go-to player, but he can do some things from the four spot imo.

Regarding Burton & Thomas .... there will be games when they should play a lot and others won't be as effective. Make depth work effectively.

Totally agree. Imo we don't have anyone that is at a high enough level they should get a ton of time or be on the court playing through it. We've got a bunch of moderately talented guards and wings, and Young. Speed up the game yet make it ugly and hectic. Foul trouble doesn't matter much with this group imo.

Seemed like they turned it around by pressing... since they suck so bad in rebounding and offense, we need to get more turnovers. I don't want to see them play like WV... but maybe with their size that's the only option.

Monte, Naz, Thomas, Weiler-Babb, Young. Jackson and Burton first off the bench. Bowie and Holden with a few minutes here and there, especially against bigger teams.

I do think that the only way to hide our serious deficiency inside is with outstanding effort in blanketing the perimeter to make those entry passes hard (with the guards collapsing to help when needed). It makes for a ton of burden on those guys, but I think we can win that way.
