Who won the coveted foot in the mouth award?

I'll take it but I think I DID say 'right now' so I was talking in the present. :)

I also pulled out the 'Young' card and will take credit. I did NOT send an open letter to Prohm about it.

He might not be the ideal player (yet) but it is obvious ISU has been better when Young has been on the floor. And it isn't just this game.

We have been making it WAY TOO EASY on opponents defending and rebounding against ISU when Young has been sitting right there.

Well, "right now" was pretty awful.
There's a reason I stay away from game threads (till it's over), no good can come of it.

Admittedly I didn't pay much attention for the first 10 or so min of the 2nd half, but what did Thomas do to get rewarded with no playing time for the last half of the 2nd half other than the free throws?

Note I'm not complaining, merely wondering if it was lack of something on the floor.

Solomon was a game changer

He absolutely was, shut down Livingston's outside shot with his length, and stopped Livingston trying to post up with his strength. Played good team defense as well and, as he always does, hustled his ass off.

The thing i liked about Young was
A) he shut down livingston
B) He wasn't a liability on offense. He doesn't force shots and lets the guards score.

In the first few games people questioned Young's D, but Livingston killed us in the first half and Young pretty much limited him to zippo and forcing bad shots that might as well have been Tech turnovers. He'll learn as he goes but we need him in there more than spot minutes for sure. I'm also willing to bet Tech never gets out to that ridiculous rebounding edge with Young in there for more of the first half.
