The Gilbert injury feels like Niang all over again. A team capable of making a Final 4 run derailed by a late season injury. Not saying they can't make a run but this really puts a damper on it.

Difference is Gilbert hasn't been good for most of this season.

Agreed. And there’s a good chance that WVU stays in the NIT longer than they would the NCAA. So timing isn’t an advantage.
