I stopped watching when he took Ole Miss in the second round.

Yeah, I got a bit bored with it overall, I probably wouldn't choose to post the link, in retrospect, until I viewed it.I stopped watching when he took Ole Miss in the second round.
Out of 23 tournaments before this year, we were in the same region as the champion 11 times (48%) and lost to the eventual champ 5 times (22%).So that puts us in the same region as the overall #1 25% of the time, which is spot on.
Npw I've always felt like we have ended up in the same region as the eventual champion more than random chance would predict. Is that north of 25%?

That is a brilliant idea. Here's an idea about how to put more significance into the conference tournaments: Give #1 and #2 seeds only to conferenceT tournament winners.
Meh, whoever got matched up with them probably wouldn't complain.I don't think VCU, Colorado State and Drake as two seeds would fly very well...
Thank you! Now finding ourselves in the same bracket as the eventually champion 48% of the time seems like extraordinary bad luck.Out of 23 tournaments before this year, we were in the same region as the champion 11 times (48%) and lost to the eventual champ 5 times (22%).

Stuff happens. Ask Dale Brown @ LSU from 1979-87.Thank you! Now finding ourselves in the same bracket as the eventually champion 48% of the time seems like extraordinary bad luck.
This will be their downfall. It could have been avoided. My focus is now on the Lipscomb Bisons. First strike against them: they don’t know the word “Bison” is already plural. Morons.
NCAA Tournament Fun Fact:
T.J. Otzelberger, Fred Hoiberg and Tim Floyd are tied with the most tournament wins for Iowa State. Each has won 4 tournament games. Iowa State has won 23.
If you take the Number of Wins by the winningest coach divided by total tournament wins (4/23), it is 17%.
That is the lowest ratio of any team in the history of the tournament.
We have a chance to raise our percentage if we win a National Championship.Thank you! Now finding ourselves in the same bracket as the eventually champion 48% of the time seems like extraordinary bad luck.
