I'd love for Purdue's gimmick to become the team that always loses in the first round and gives Iowa State and easier path to the Sweet 16Purdue may easily get upset by a number 13
ISU has a great opportunity to get to the second week. Hope they capitalize.
One of the guys on CBS just picked our region and had Michigan vs Purdue in the Elite Eight. LOL
Man the media is pissed Syracuse didn't make it in.
Minnesota didn't deserve a 5 though.Michigan has had an excellent surge in past month. It's going to end in first weekend.
A co-worker who's a major U-M fan is upset that Minnesota got a 5, Maryland got a 6 and Michigan got a 7. Could those teams all be 6 seeds? Perhaps. We have good discussions about bracketology throughout the year, but his misunderstanding about the process and overall body of work shows itself at times. This is an example.

I agree, 5 is too high. It's almost like they wanted to overseed some team enough to get the 5-12 upset odds higher

But Bilas thought Duke should be a 1 seed. I don't know when to believe Bilas or when he's full of crap. Here's a decent analysis from Norlander at CBS Sports
Six seedings the committee got wrong
Thoughts? Other teams inaccurately seeded in addition to his list?
I agree with arguments about Wichita State being seeded to low. I slotted WSU as a 9 seed, because I truly thought that's how the resume would be viewed. I wouldn't have been surprised if it was an 8. On "Mike & Mike" today, Bilas said "Wichita State is a 5 seed. They're that good." But "being that good" and evaluating body of work aren't always the same thing. (Iowa State has been playing like a 3 seed lately, but got a 5 seed, which is about right.)
