*** Official SELECTION SUNDAY Thread ***

I think the committee is putting some of the last teams in, in those 8-9 games. Those are the worst draws so why not put some of the last schools in there. 11 seeds can win some games. Plus, I don't think they like 1 seeds dropping out the first weekend.

So I'd have to assume that the KU fans have been planning on being in KC and have already sucked up a lot of the tickets, right?

I'd assume that as well. I'd love to play them, but for ticket availability it would be best if they choked before then. Lotta drama off the court, could happen.

Purdue doesn't scare me but Kansas Louisville and Oregon do

Playing Neveda and hearing a lot of upset picks theses next few days will have the team focused. Purdue or Vermont is a toss up game but don't fear either.

Kansas ducked ISU in the tourney karma. Oregon is good but just lost Boucher which hurts. Louisville is tough but has trouble scoring if their press isn't creating pts out of TO's much like WV.
Playing in Milwaukee and possibly Kansas City allows our fans to be in attendance in full force.

All in all a pretty favorable draw imo.

Boy we really dropped OKState's seed down from where it was projected with two late wins over them. 10 seed. OK St vs Michigan not a typical 10-7 game.

Ok so I'm looking to buy some tickets but I'm not dropping $800 for All sessions passes for the whole family. When are we going to know what session they're in?

Bucknell beats West Virginia

I don't think so, but when WV faces Notre Dame, the refs will call all those holds and hand checks and WV will not stand a chance. That is what happens to teams that get away with that style of play in the Big 12. The first good team they play with non-Big 12 refs and they are done.

Iowa is a 1 seed. Lol. If they hadn't wet the bed against Indiana, they are probably in. That has to hurt.

Was about to post the same thing almost word for word. Can't help but chuckle.

And yes, I've already heard from one Hawk fan that says they're better off in the NIT. Of course he's the same guy that said they would be no worse than the 3rd place team in the B12. Can't make this stuff up.
