a #6 seed is statistically more likely to make the Elite Eight than a #5 seed and by a pretty wide margin. Heck, that states that #6, #7, #8 and #10 seeds ALL are more likely to make the Elite Eight than a #5 seed.

I agree. I think we will be a 5, but I think the 6 is a much better position to be in, mainly because the chances of the #1 getting knocked off before you meet them are much lower than the 2 losing to the 7 or 10 beforehand.

Yea and there are a bunch of raging hard-on's over it at HokNation. Obviously comical. Works for me if it gets their hopes only to have reality smite them in the head again.

Agree with your overall point, especially if a #6 keeps us in Milwaukee.
But as far as any mid major goes, nobody is more hungry than we are. Nobody will want to see Iowa State next to their name at 5:30.

Do you realize Princeton doesn't run that slow it down back door cut offense anymore? They actually try to play faster and run.
 
4 seed is better than 5 seed IMO...12 seeds are always really stingy Mid Major Conf champions whereas 13 seeds tend to be lower level of mid major. I truly think we deserve a 4 seed..If you stick ISU resume next to Purdue/WV/SMU etc..We win every metric...RPI/SOS/Road wins etc.. I can understand many wanting a 6 seed for Milwaukee but I just dont see any way we've stayed put at a 6 seed.

Unless the committee suddenly just changed their metrics every year they always talk about SOS being the most important. Who did u play and did u win.

Odds of ISU playing South Dakota St? Vs TJ? Lol.. Some brackets have us playing Middle Tenn state..Want nothing to do with that match up...nothing.

I would like to thank the MAYOR for turning this program around and making it greater than it ever was.

One of the greatest turnarounds in college basketball. Thank you FRED. Someone should make a documentary on this.

0 unless SDSU gets to the sweet 16 as a 15 or 16 seed.
