WM was here for 3 seasons had memorable wins at kanasa and at texas. NIT final 4, and a NCAA Tourney appearance and 1 win in that tourney.

No way you can spin it. This is an awful, awful loss for ISU, plain and simple.
A lot of people on here are reacting, as opposed to responding. There is a big difference. I'm not ready to call for McD's head yet, but you can't lose a game like this and not have some concerns as a fan. I beleive our next game is against Houston, I'm not ready to predict a road win, but I do think how we respond to a loss like this will tell us a lot about how the rest of the season could go.
Hey, it's small consolation, but did anybody else notice that Nebraska was down 37-21 and ended up losing to Maryland Baltimore-County in Lincoln tonight?

Mac coached really badly but these guys did not give all their. At point where even Walters is talking about them not playing hard it's bad.
ISU men's BB was the university's flagship program for over 20 years. That tradition has been absolutely gutted and trashed. Hilton Magic is a distant memory. The players exhibit no passion or pride and frankly, GM looks like he is simply going throught the motions. This program has been listless for three years and it is not getting better. Wasn't the addition of Lucca and Eik supposed to help solve the offensive woes of the last two years?
This is reason #8,000,000,0000 why I hate 'diamond in the rough' recruiting. Occasionally you can find one, but you can't base an entire team on them. We simply have too many players on scholarship who were a reach at the Big 12 level.

Last time I looked we should not lose to SDSU!!!! This is soooo freaking bad. Cyclone fans can express there displeasure of this pathetic loss. Do not expect me to go to any games with GMAC at the helm. This team does the same mistakes every single game and still have not learned anything from one loss to the next. Where the hell are the fundamentals???
Basketball was never an issue until now. I'm calling direct tv and seeing if Wayne's still around.

well were you predicting that C****k would take off and run when things got tough? either of you? i sure didnt, i dont think you can blame JP for that. But the Mac hire you sure can, but just because he makes one damn mistake doesnt mean we should get rid of JP too.
Lucca is horrible he hasn't done anything this year besides one game in which we lost it what a waste of chants he can't pass can't dribble and a terrible defender besides a good shooter what a total waste of chanting (so far)
As long as we keep all of our incoming and possible prospective recruits I'm all game for canning this P.O.S. I never felt comfy hiring him, but I kept my mouth shut in support of him...now he needs to be gone. This slow, pathetic offense doesn't work in this era of the game...get a clue MAC we aren't in the 50's any more.
...Which, if they receive, they can't get a job to pay for food, toiletries, or anything else - as not everyone is blessed with parents who can pay for these things, this is a big deal. They also have to be at school playing a game on December 23, when everyone else is at home with their families. They go back out on the court nursing injuries when they could just give up, just out of pride. How about some respect.
