***Official portal tracker thread***

Essentially he had an employee mark "Exempt" on his W4 so my client is arguing that the employee marking exempt makes his $60K pay in 2025 exempt from reporting and taxes. Which is not true at all. Marking "exempt" on your W4 just means you elect to not have taxes withheld from your pay check, you still have to report it via a W2 and file/pay taxes.

But youtube told him that so he's the expert.
Make sure he saves that video for the IRS audit. It’ll be invaluable in getting them to accept his accounting practices as legitimate.

Completely the opposite. His legacy will be more impacted by how he left and gutted the team. Maybe time changes that, but success by CJR will bury Matt. Too many people with too many hard feelings. IMO.

I still have trouble rooting for Hoiberg. And he left for the NBA and didn't gut our roster. Pretty much everything Campbell built, he destroyed in a couple of weeks. I'm thankful for the wins and the players who we can now root for in the pros. But that's it. He can GFHS.

A player that entered the portal could wait until the summer to decide. The amount of money each school has left in their revenue sharing pool would be limited. However, the player could potentially sign NIL deals at the new school.
But once they enter the portal isn't their scholarship yanked?

So if they don't find a new school in the next couple weeks what are their options..
  • Attend a college or community on their parents dime?
  • Not go to school until they find a scholarship & NIL opportunity? But do they still need to meet NCAA credit requirements over the school year? So summer school credits?

I have no knowledge of any of the NCAA eligibility rules. However, based on various courts rulings almost always favoring the players over the NCAA, my guess is if you are in good academic standing when you 'skip' a semester deciding on your future school, you will be eligible at your new school. I cant see a court agreeing that your missing a semester of school makes you ineligible. But I'm also not a lawyer. So I better find a Holiday Inn Express to increase my knowledge.

I am not going to dig in that to find your missing cell phone.

Essentially, QB's were getting the ball out in 2-3 seconds. So Heacock decided it didn't make sense to waste a 4th DL rushing when they aren't going to be able to get there that fast and just add a DB to coverage to take out a passing window.

Sorry I'm a little testy about misinformation this morning, I have a Construction client from Idaho arguing with me about how he paid a couple of his workers because he "saw a video about it on you tube" and the video is completely wrong.
No way. It is law that you cannot lie on the internet. That's how World War I got started.

The sovereign citizens are my favorite on TikTok. I like it when they yell, "I don't consent to being arrested!" as they're getting dragged out of their cars.
Lost a lot of valuable work hours wasted watching those videos on the Tube. Maybe they weren't wasted hours afterall.

Need one or two more elite Wide receiver with one being of Higgin/Lazard height, A proven not worn out running back and one 6'7 TE, then I will feel good with what this staff has brought in so far.
