Well none of us are his target audience when he did the “talking down” thing. We’re on cyclone fanatic. We know how things work and he talking about us. But trust me, if you open up Facebook comments, most those people have no clue how it works.

Who is saying this, and where? I've been strongly on the side of "he put in his time here and he built something and gave us some good times, don't be upset that he left," but if the quoted is true, that would change my view 180 degrees on his departure.

Agreed.....i think maybe we keep a few names and lets say have an average year....after that it could swirl quick. I just would imagine Mouser would be left alone coaching wise, etc.
I mean, CW has Cael's jersey up in his studio...of course this stinks for him (like the kid with the Brahmer jersey on Xmas eve)....but i think the "feel good" stories of guys doing cool things will slowly go away (when We Will had the tie in to non-profits, etc) and will feel more and more transactional (hopefully i'm wrong and guys like Flora and such will be "loyal sons" and all that.
I get the perspective this is supposed to provide. But to me, this supports players transferring for more NIL whenever they can. Money in the NFL certainly isn't guaranteed.
Agreed...and while i think every one's dreams is the NFL, i think for many they do have the opportunity to (in addition to a free education), an average power 4 player can probably bank $500k-1Mil over their playing time if they are even above average.....so i think many will keep trying to maximize that "Now" money knowing they probably won't make money playing pro ball.

I don’t remember who said everything, but I think it’s an implication from two rumors: Campbell wanted Mouser to take over, and (2) Campbell and the former staff are telling players who won’t be joining them at Penn State to enter the portal and look for a different landing spot. That rumor came from a poster who said that he had a son who knew two of the players, and that’s what those players said.
So it’s just rumors on here
