Anyone else tired of the constant human interest pieces and switching of sports in the middle of events?

I like the stories, but not in the middle of events. Since it is all delayed anyway I wish they would show it altogether. But then they couldn't string you along the whole night.

Yes. Totally sucks that they stretched the gymnastics last night until almost 10:30. One of my young daughters wanted to see Gabby win it, we were letting them stay up, but she was wiped and fell asleep before it ended. Not NBC's problem, just kind of blows that the marquis event of the entire summer games, which started at 8 on time delay already, couldn't have just been aired straight through.

SPOILASSSSSSSS

Instead of seeing the Japanese team score a goal in the 72nd minute to go up 2-0 against the Brazilians, viewers were treated to commercials for some new **** Wolf show and a bicycle store in Jacksonville, Fla.

lol nice work nbc

Found this on Reddit, supposedly a gif of a Gold Medal vault by the Soviet gymnast who held the medal record Phelps just broke. Amazing how far things have come.

Totally stuck the landing though.
