Funny how a guy can be the best, most decorated swimmer in the history of the world by a HUGE margin, and people can still say that he should train harder. Can't please everyone I suppose.

Happy to see a smile on Jordyn Wieber's face. Didn't want the lasting image of her to be bawling on national tv.

Let's see. For Beijing, he practiced his arse off, and won 8 gold medals. For London, he's been missing practices, and by the standards he set he's having a disappointing Olympics. Correlation?

The only reason he's having a "disappointing olympics" is because a guy named Michael Phelps set the bar impossibly high 4 years ago.
 
I wonder if Phelps is annoying or cool when he's high.. but congrats to him. Greatest Olympian in history now perhaps.
 
So happy I successfully stayed away from spoilers today!

Jordyn & Co. just tore it up! I'm still not sure where they found fault in McKayla's vault. Absolutely perfect. So happy for them!

And anyone complaining about Phelps needs to shut their traps, including that little biotch swimmer who criticized his training regimen. Tyler something? He got HOSED in that race. Phelps was going to retire - I'm sure he was completely burned out after Beijing. Some of the interviews talked about him going into a depression - you've completed everything you've worked for all your life - where do you go next? Got a late start training and seems to be trying to take it a bit easier and enjoy it this time around. Come back and ***** when you've won 19 Olympic medals.
