That's probably the 2nd worst draft blunder after Portland taking Sam Bowie over MJ.

I think it's worse. You can see the logic in it for Portland. They already had Clyde playing the 2 guard and they need help up front. Detroit really had no excuse for passing on Carmelo.

Was Bosh drafted in that class as well?

Yep, it really was an absolutely loaded draft. Lots of solid second round guys as well, Jason Kapono, Steve Blake, Zaza Pachulia, Keith Bogans, Matt Bonner, Mo Williams, James Jones, Kyle Korver.

That might not seem like an impressive list but to have that many second rounders stick in the league for almost is decade is extremely impressive.

I was actually going to say Darko was worse but I thought everyone would throw the Sam Bowie / MJ one at me for saying the Darko pick was the worst.

Bulls should sign Chris "Birdman" Anderson who the Nuggets just used the amnesty on. He rebounds and plays defense which is exactly what Asik did and he'll likely come much cheaper. I would like to see them get Belinelli too, he's basically be the same kind of player as Korver was. Where is a link to Shannon Brown signing? I haven't seen anything other than rumors they are interested.

Also, the amnesty deadline has passed so the Bulls will not use it this year on Boozer. I think either after this season or next they will because there is no sense at this point when Rose is out Boozer at least can score some points still. Only when they are in a position to acquire a player of significance will they use it on Boozer because this offseason there were not many realistic targets for what the Bulls would have to spend to cut ties with Boozer.

Ummm no. You don't sign a guy who had police search his home as part of an investigation by the department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit.

The Shannon Brown thing maybe not be official yet but it was reported oin the site Cy Cash gave me and that site has been right on everything so far.

the guy is either psychic or has crazy connections...was 2-3 days early on Lin to Houston and early on D-Will signing with Rockets.

Site says that Chicago signed Vladimir Radmanovic for a 1 year deal

Howard guarantees signing extension if traded to Lakers.

Bulls not matching offer from Rockets for Asik.

Pretty much guarantees Royce will be a rocket next year.

Rockets sign-and-trade Courtney Lee to the Celtics for JaJuan Johnson.

Another PF in Rockets

the NBA will now allow referees to go to the instant replay in the final 2 minutes of games & overtimes to clear up goal tending and charge-block calls.

interesting...any chance college goes to something similar?

Howard's agent says that Howard will not sign an extension with any team and will test free agency next season. Could explain why this is taking so long.
