NBA: ***Official NBA Draft and Offseason Thread***

So if the celtics draft Jackson will they still go after Hayward or George?
Absolutely. I think Hayward ends up in Boston.

George not so much. He'll be in Cleveland or Indiana for one year then in LA the next. Unless somehow he's in Cleveland next year and they convince him to stay if LeBron stays too.

Could also be a hint they are still open to trading down a couple more spots. I saw Sacremento might be interested in the 3rd pick.

Sacramento has needed a PG forever. Their best play is to stay put at 5 and take the top PG left on the board. If Fox is still there at that point then the Kings are draft night winners simply by virtue of staying put.

Details on the trade here. To move down two spots the Celtics get the Lakers' first round pick next year if it falls between 2-5 or the Kings' first round pick in 2019.

This actually feels like a pretty good deal for the Sixers. I don't know if Ainge got enough, but I guess that all depends on how steep the drop off is from Fultz to the rest of the field.

See imo that'd be a stupid move. You would have Crowder, J Brown, Jackson and Hayward all at the same position. I just don't see the reason to go after Hayward if they draft Jackson. They need to go after a center.

I'm convinced De'Aaron Fox is the best player in the draft. If his jumpshot comes along I love his game.

I like Fox too, but that's a big if. The NBA is littered with guys who could be All Stars if their jumper would ever come along. That said, I think he's the second best PG prospect in the draft.

If they sign Hayward apparently Crowder has a very trade-friendly contract.

This is bizarre timing. With so much up in the air for the Cavs right now you'd think they would have had this resolved one way or another before now. Lebron is rumored to be heading west, Kevin Love is a goner, and the team is trying to construct a multiple team deal for PG or Jimmy Butler, and right smack in the middle of all that the GM walks? Strange.

Rumors the Knicks are open to trading Porzingas. Are they playing, 'how angry can you make a Knicks fan'?

Wow, Knicks are shopping Porzingis Personally, I'm rooting for the Bucks to get him. A front court of Greek Freak at the 3, Porzingis at the 4 and Monroe at the 5 would be awesome.
