ISU will WIN!!! 68-65 (ok, or something like that)
Hilton Magic kicks it into Overdrive! GO CYCLONES!!!

For the last half-decade, I've had guarded optimism each year for an ISU upset over KU in Hilton. I don't realistically expect a win, but figure it's possible. And it continues to be a letdown ... what's the home futility streak vs. Kansas now, seven straight?

Even a happy accident would be nice.

At absolute minimum, do not let it be a blowout like the Texas-TT game on Tuesday night in Lubbock. Somewhat similar circumstances this season (powerhouse vs. bottom-feeder).

It would be fun if the Big Orr Night sprinkled magic on the proceedings, but if it has to be a loss (again), I hope it's not a blowout.

This unit seems scrappy enough to do better than that, at least.

IMO it will be crucial for the cyclones to contain the Morris Twins. If the boys can limit their numbers then I think this game will be close, but watch out if our bigs get in foul trouble early. The return of JR will help with that, but we need a big night defensively from JVB.

"There is the opening tip. JVB taps it to DG who quickly moves it downcourt and then lobs a ball high to Edge. SLAM. First blood to the Clones as Edge starts it off with a thunder dunk. Time now for an ESPN commercial break."

You forgot "and Melvin will go to the line to try to earn one more as Marcus Morris picks up a very early foul."

This is true, but it goes a step further. To contain them, we need to double them on every touch in the paint. For that to be successful, we have to rotate correctly, and they have to miss some threes.

My biggest concern with the Morris twins is keeping them off the offensive glass. They could (and have in the past) just killed us there.

There are two days in the year that I cannot stand being at work where Allen Fieldhouse is right infront of me. I just want to go home and being away from all the Jayhawks :)

TIME TO FAN-UP!!! Plenty of seats are still available. Please get there if at all possible. Buy a ticket; show-up; and cheer loud! GO CYCLONES!!!

I can't believe any tickets are still available for this. The students better show up in full force, 1st game back after break there is not finals or work due.

I see that Mario Little was cleared to play yesterday by Self, hopefully this hurts team chemistry. I'm just glad I dont have to watch Collins or Aldrich anymore. I am also tired of hearing "rock chalk jayhawk" at the end of games in Hilton loud and clear.

I can't be at the game tonight. I dearly wish I could, but there is nothing to say that no matter how bad the score, you can work to drown out that gayhawk crap. If you hear it, start a "Here we go Cyclones, here we go!" chant. Get those around you to pitch in. They might if you let them know why you are doing it. I don't care how badly our team is getting beaten, we shouldn't put up with that in our house!

If we play turnover free, out rebound them, make 100% of our freethrows and stay out of foul trouble, I like our chances.:jimlad:

If the crowd shows up, in full force? Throw all that **** out, and katy bar the door. Could see an upset on national TV.

Excited for my second game of the season, hoping for another big W. Also can't wait to hear "HEEEEERRRRREEEEEESSS Johnny!" Should definitely bring some MAGIC!

Students-BE LOUD THE WHOLE GAME!! I will be!
