Official ISU vs SIU Edwardsville Thread

No. That was awesome. You knew it was coming as soon as he got that steal on the other end.

Reminded me a lot of Rahshon vs Texas last year...he racked up a few frequent flyer miles on that.

Hilton would have been ROCKIN' after that dunk tonight if it had been decent weather.

Figured I'd just sit down while I was there.

Great way to get past the ticket people---point to your stocking feet and say, "Some guy down there took my shoes. I've got to go get 'em."

Works every time:wink:
I really just tell them to get out of my way or i will leave the building and theres one less fan and they always let me by

It was close already. As close as we could get!

That was an impressive little bit of steady dominance right there. Once again, we just systematically dismantled that overmatched little team.

I think the Bunnies really woke these guys up. Thanks, Bunnies!

91 points.....the highest one game total under McDermott

Previous high: 90 points, Lake Superior St, 2006-2007

Nice confidence building win going into the Big 12. Not much of a team we played, but I'll take the W. Feel much better about this years team relative to last years. Still not sure if we'll win many more games this year, but I think we're making progress.

What was up with Brackins today? Was there just no point in playing him tonight?

He was getting double-teamed so let the rest of the team handled it. As they mentioned on the post game show, he handled it really well.

I just thought it was great to see us finally dominate a team that we're supposed to dominate... instead of letting them hang around and then hitting a cold spell and possibly losing. I think this "year of the Cyclone" might be starting to catch on!

It might replace Bryan in my sig line:yes:

Just a couple thoughts...it's really nice seeing the way the team has moved the ball around lately...Craig Brackins is starting to "get it"...he is starting to understand when to pass the ball and when to attack on offense-and how much better he can make the team if he hits the open man when he's getting doubled...I try not to get too high with a win, or too low with a loss, because I still believe we're a year away...but these guys are definately buying into the system, and it's fun watching them improve in front of our eyes.
