He's appeared in two or three other games this year already. Pomlee will be the one redshirting. He's also a funny kid, him and christopherson sat behind me in econ.

Only the exhibitions at the start of season (we had 1 this year but usually we have 2). If you play at all in during the actual games, you can't redshirt.

Not for a regular redshirt. For a medical redshirt, you are allowed to play in up to 30% of games.

I believe the percent thing you are talking about is whether the player is eligible for a medical redshirt. Not sure about the details but it is something like if they play less than 20% of the total time and has a season ending injury you are eligible. I know that isn't the exact rules but isn't it something along those lines?
