***OFFICIAL: ISU @ UNI Post Game thread!***

I still think we'll win a lot of home games and lose most, if not all of our true road games this year. I just pray we beat Iowa. I don't care if it's by 1 or 30, just don't lose to those turds.

Jake is not a great coach. The way his team plays is an embarrassment to the game.

There is more than one way to play basketball. We play a completely different kind of basketball than UNI does, and we allowed them to dictate the pace of play.

The tight officiating didn't help our cause either, as it accentuated our thin bench.

eh...we got beat by rebounds and excellent UNI free throw shooting. Both teams shot crappy and the refs sucked both ways. We had a chance to win it with under a minute, but couldn't execute. Credit to UNI for offense rebounds and making their free throws. On to the next game.

Wow...really? In case you noticed, Jacobson makes up for mediocre offensive teams by producing stellar defensive teams.

you mean just wasting 30 seconds before they put a shot up offense so it looks like you have a good defense?

I had this down as a loss, but I'm still disappointed. It was a game we should have won.

But UNI is very very good and playing ugly basketball. We shot terribly and the refs just made things even worse. We'll bounce back and beat Cal this weekend. It would have been nice to have this win and the State Title, but the season isn't over.

Holy cow people. Get over the officiating. Good teams win REGARDLESS of who is officiating. I don't believe the officials shot lights out from the line or completely kept us off the offensive boards ALL night.

Blaming it on the officials is pathetic.

Wow... Shocked that nobody mentioned that Jordan Railey played a really nice game. His best of the year.

It just looked like the Cyclones lost their way tonight. It looked like last years team, which made this all the more painful.

Hopefully they can find their way against Cal Saturday.

The refs DID cost us the game. It was all tied up when the travel was called on DG and it looked like he had an easy drive to the basket. That would have changed the entire complexion of the rest of the game IMO.

Why would the complexion of the game have been any different than it was after Jake nailed the three? We still would have needed to stop UNI. The best we could have hoped for at that point was overtime.

So they are 6-1 now. Big deal. This team will lose alot more. Let's get behind this team for the Cal game. Hopefully the coaches and players all learn from this.

One thing is certian. I will not watch another game that UNI plays. What a boring brand of basketball that is.
