I'ma go 'head and quote myself here...

I don't think anyone isn't happy that we're 5-0. To suggest they aren't is rather silly, IMO.

I think it's a good thing for people to be cautiously optimistic with this team. Be happy we are where we're at, but don't be surprised and have a meltdown if the losses start coming.

We could've easily been blown out too. Too many missed chip shots, free throws, out rebounded. If UNI could've made some shots we would've been in big trouble. I'm over it....bring on Cal!

Bad officiating is bad officiating. You shouldnt have to play 10pts better than the other team to overcome the refs. Absolutely couldve played better, but fact is, if not for officiating, we win that game.

Yes, the officiating was bad. But IMO the officiating was bad both ways. It did not cost us this game. UNI won because they executed better down the stretch.

Not a meltdown loss of a game. DG needs to learn to recognize when he is off and not force it. How many times did Jake touch it after nailing the three to tie it?

Zero...real good recognition by our point guard in getting the ball to our shooters down the stretch...still not a total pg by his senior year...thank God this is his last year!

Not that we've been good in past years but we are going to be bad on the road this year. Especially if DG struggles as it doesn't look like we have someone capable of leading the team down the stretch if DG doesn't have his A game.

This is the perfect thing we need at this time. It is early enough that the guys can learn from this. We shoot terribly, don't control the game, get into foul trouble and lose by 6. That's not bad for this team. The coaches are going to say "this is what happens when we don't play Cyclone basketball" now it's the players job to respond. Time to regroup and get after Cal! Go State!

I'm not sure why people keep making UNI out to be a pushover team. They have been to 2 straight tourney's and the sweet 16 last year. I dont care if they lost a lot, the team has a lot of experience.

I'm still astounded that DG was taking all those shots.

I'll be the first to pin Fred on that one. He's gotta make sure his players don't get selfish and put a stop to that when it happens. Jake should have gotten more touches.

I'm not quite sure I've EVER heard so much complaining...

For all the smack this board was talking before the game, their players definitely didn't back it up. I literally went back to the official game thread and I saw 38 posts within 6 pages of reading that were complaining about the refs. Unreal.

The refs DID cost us the game. It was all tied up when the travel was called on DG and it looked like he had an easy drive to the basket. That would have changed the entire complexion of the rest of the game IMO.

Im not. Scotty was terrible. Nobody else was getting remotely open. Not even close.
