Bottom line for this game is we got beat by a team who was top 10 in the country and prob would be top 5 if they hadnt just got beat by top 10 teams. Also, we lost in their house. On top of that they didnt miss shots. Hard to beat a team that doesnt miss anything. On top of that we were ice cold. We kept it w/in 6pts for a large ammount of the game. If anyone should be worried it should be Baylor.

not meant to be arrogant at all. when you've got 2-3 inches on everyone in the front court, I don't expect my team to give up 12 offensive rebounds.

hell, I don't care about height, I don't want my team to give up 12 offensive rebounds period.

edit: I can say "hell" but not "p!ssed"? What kind of midwest shenanigans is that?

What the hell is up with Baylor's attendance issues? Talk about terrible support.

My only complaint about last night was that Hoiberg didn't match the size at all. Ejim was getting owned by Acy in the blocks yet he wouldn't put Booker or Gibson in the game for defense. It's not like you have to cover him on the perimeter, just body him up. It seems like Fred liked to run the two big guys when White was in the bench, where Ejim played with White. Just put out a big lineup once in a while.

Can't wait to get a big dose of Beast Mode Booker when he gets Acy in his backyard!

I think you are right. I also hope Fred and the coaching staff are working on Booker and how to deal with Acy emotionally. Acy knows he can get in Booker's head. Hopefully Booker is prepared for that and the T, or at least a couple of cheap fouls, end up going the other way.

I remember Fizer struggling with this with a player in a game - wish I could remember who. In the next game against that team Marcus just kept smiling at that player when he was trying to get in his head. I think Marcus actually started to get in his head. Great job out of Eustachy getting him ready and great job by Marcus learning from it and executing.

Kudos to all of you. I fully expected a full blown meltdown. Nice job keeping perspective!

Our RPI actually went up after last night's loss, it's now at 38 with a SOS of 50. Pretty good numbers for our chances.
