***OFFICIAL #9 ISU DEFEATS #7 BAYLOR POSTGAME THREAD***

Scott Drew thinks were national title contenders...WHOA TIME OUT SCOTT!

MONTE stepped up big to make up for Niangs slow night. Great game all around. I can see where some 7 footers could give us trouble down low, but as long as the shots keep falling outside it wont matter. 2000-2001 was a good team, this one may be a touch better.

I think I saw Fran at the game tonight. He kicked that official in the groin when he ran down the court. Can anyone confirm?

Now I understand why Georges played so poor most of the game....

Def not on his game tonight. Maybe we'll here he was sick too.

He was dead.

+ Kane 6-TO's and 9 assists.

+ Monte another 27--mins without a TO and probably his best game to date; 5-8 shooting (3-4 trey) and 4-assists.

+ Was Georges sick tonight? Very quiet for him, did not seem on his game. 9-pts, 4-fouls

+ Not much production from Thomas.

+ Did that look like #7 vs #9 to you?

Anyone concerned we were out rebounded for the 3rd straight game I believe? But to make up for this....we shot better than 54% from the field, committed nine less turnovers, matched their 3 pointers in terms of number made and %, just took 5 more free throws..makes a relatively easy win at home.

Just a dominating performance...the only worries happened early in the first half and late in the first half....Easy on the heart and furniture...Gotta love it, and I recorded it, so I can watch it again and again until it replays on Cyclone.tv.

ISU 2-0 in conference with game day threads started by yours truly.

I think after KU I love beating Baylor just as much.

#Scott Drew Tears!

Awesome win, and the cyclones are a legitimate top 10 team. But, to me, Baylor looks like they gave up midway through the 2nd half. Not sure that is a top 10 team.
Drew should have called a time out there when the score was hanging around ten, and then moving up over ten. The Baylor team lost their composure. At the first sign of that he should have called a time out.
