This snow storm was real. I'm pretty sure I moved more snow today than in the last 3 yrs, for sure more than all of last yr.

Waited to leave the in-laws until after the dual today instead of trying to get back early to watch it. Smart move.
This November/December so far feels like 2013 all over again. That was the year of the frigid KU game. Hope January and February aren’t the same cause that was cold and snowy.
I camped near the Canadian border between Fall and Spring semester in 2013/14. I had to break off the icicles from my mustache to drink water. It was extremely cold.
Very fortunate with the snow removal here. Reported 14.5 inches for my area. I live on the west side of a north-south gravel road and have a beautiful (45 years in the making--I planted it) windbreak. With the east wind driven snow most of it blew on through to the extent that I could still see gravel on my driveway and most of the large graveled area between my house and machine shed until late afternoon Saturday. The wind shifted to the northwest and the grove allowed the final 3-4 inches to gently lay down. This morning, I walked down to the wood heated shop to throw another log on the fire in my crocs. The sun was shining which gave the perception that it was warmer than it was so I jumped on my old (no cab) skidsteer, not fully dressed for the task and started pushing snow. With a couple breaks in the shop to warm up I had it all cleared before the maintainer came by.

First time that I had to dig slush out of my snowblower chute since I got it. Thing was sputtering, complaining and dying, but I finally got through it. Probably doesn't help that I only got it out once or twice last year.
Tip to prevent that. Get a bottle of silicon and wipe down the back of the snowblower and the chute. In a pinch, spraying WD-40 does the same thing, it only doesn't last as long. Just don't put it on the augers.
Some of us just go downstairs, to the garage or just outside when the wife ticks us off. You took it to whole new level. I’m impressed.

After the plows went by, when I was doing the ends of driveways I had to be careful due to my snow blower throwing chunks of ice.
