Hearing rumors of another massive snowstorm this weekend. Anyone seeing anything?

Weather Underground has 1.8" for Saturday in Des Moines.

KCCI:

Temperatures will rebound for Friday ahead of our next potential snow maker. A clipper system is setting up for the weekend and potentially passing over Iowa between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. This could give us our next round of measurable snowfall. This system is still too far out to say with any high confidence, but we could see our next round of slick travel across the state. We will monitor this next system as more reliable model data comes in this week.

Get that sense too. We've been spoiled the last few years.
What? Last year in the DSM metro was a little light for snow, but most of it came in one big storm, I think, but the last 7-8 before that have had around average or better for snow. Plus, we've had more icy rain/drizzle events that to me are way worse than snow.

Low in Central Iowa tonight is -10. This is gonna be a long winter

Feels like temp will be hovering around -3 degrees when the games gets done tonight. I'm hoping my C1 parking pass comes through.

Ugh. I was hoping some of this current snow would melt enough that I could get the racecar hauler out in a couple weeks to take the racecar to my consultant to have him help me update it. Looks like I am going to just have to go get the parts and do it myself.

Temperature has gone down a degree since I got up an hour age. -4 now. Sigh.
