Too much complaining about the winter so far. It doesn’t even start until December 21 and forecasts that far out are often not reliable. As far as the late fall, I agree it hasn’t been that pleasant.

Early in the day, they were only suppose to get rain, and then the entire storm shifted further South an expected. Ottumwa and Davis Co. have already canceled for tomorrow.

Van Buren is two hour delay Friday.

Left DSM airport around 4:30 last night. The drive up Fleur to 235 was a **** show. One accident, one stalled car near the 235 interchange. People driving with just a six inch view out the windshield driving 10 mph. Got into the very outside lane to get to Ames and still had people driving that damn slow. Took like 90 minutes compared to my normal 45 minute drive.

Very wet snow in Southeast Iowa and with temps 34, pavements are just wet. Not looking forward to another snow Saturday.

Snowing pretty good in southeast Iowa. About one inch per hour. Started around 5 a.m.
