Not really impressed with Ole Miss to this point - what they're doing to UNC to this point, I can't see them doing to our defense.

I’m worried about them shutting down our offense. Without Gilbert, a good pressure defense that switches gives out guards problems to score. Jefferson would have to have a big game.

i mean...they aren't as bad as I thought. I just looked it up. Recent years since 2017:

• 7 seed went 1-1 and round of 32
• 11 seed lost first round
• 5 seed lost round of 32
• 5 seed lost round of 32
• 5 seed lost first round

Last year was really the only year they didn't hit their seed mark for expectations. I think the media always just pump them up when in reality they are just a decent team.

Still a LOT of time left in NC-Miss, but I may have misjudged. I thought UNC being "doesn't deserve bid" that surely it'd make run at least a couple of rounds just because.

Ole Miss is a more balanced and solid team than North Carolina. Top 35 offense and top 25 defense with really low turnover numbers and quite a few steels. Surprisingly they aren't a very good rebounding team.

The midday friday slot really is the best.

You get to enjoy the first day without stressing about the upcoming game, and then you get the game over early on friday so you can just enjoy the rest of the day (assuming a win).
