*** Official 2025 Chicago Cubs Thread***

Feeling pretty good at least about the Cubs' middle/long relief corps situation. For the post-season, you've got multiple options like Rea, Assad, Soroka and Civale, and all have looked pretty good of late. Just need the bats to wake up.

The offense is still a concern because you are going to see a team's best pitchers in a short series so it's not like you are going to luck out and face someone's 4th or 5th starter or bottom end of the bullpen. Everyone will throw the kitchen sink at you to have the best chance of advancing and the late inning relievers don't get days off. It's also looking like Kyle Tucker may not be healed up in time either with the news he's stalled out on his progress and headed to Tampa to do some more PT. Palencia is another injury to keep an eye on if he can make it back too.

Okay, this has haunted me all season. Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees this.

I see a grown up version of the "6' turkey" kid from the original Jurassic Park...

EDIT: I just might add, that kid hardly grew up. He's still a working actor but he's all of 5'2".
