Invest in a battery back up sub pump or get a system that uses your house’s water pressure to move the water.

We had a sub pump fail on Labor Day 2019 about 6 months after we finished our basement. Put a battery backup system in and have had good luck so far

I see my sister's house in this video. Looks like the houses are ok, but that course might take a bit of work to get back into playing condition
There was flooding on this hole a month or so ago (but not this bad) and I played the course a couple of days later

That's my home course. They've had some problems there and just added a waterway through the middle of the fairway to help relieve it a bit. Not enough for that kind of extended downpour though.

Nothing like a 3am wake up call by the warning sirens in Grimes when there was no weather in the area and winds were calm. I believe Brett is on here, any idea why the sirens went off early this morning?

Other than Indianola at 3.5" it doesn't look like anyone else got above 2.7" and most locations were 1.5 or less. I-70 from Columbia to St. Louis was the winner last night with 4"+
