If we did not offer him like CW mentioned, then him going to Mizzou is great for us. I really don't believe he would have made an impact based on his stats and tape. Considering the transfer rule is likely to be implemented, I'd rather take multi-year players.

I would have liked him if we didn’t get Harris, Buggs is better at doing the things that can be coached where as Harris has more talent and now a HC who’s great with PG’s.

Buggs would’ve been the whipping boy all year had he come here. There’s just something frustrating about a player who can’t shoot.

Mizzou Landing Buggs I’m ok with bc we won’t be seeing Mizzou on any more lists with us prob..

SO MUCH THIS!

Mizzou landing Buggs eliminates Mizz from our compettion for a guard moving forward really.

Maybe Prohm thinks Tyler H and Javon and Bolton can play PG by committee...idk..Word is Javon was the scout team PG last year so his balls skills must be ok.

Brown is prob a long shot but if we land a player of Brown caliber we will be right in the mix next season...We are 1 player away now.

Maybe J Walker walks onto campus a stud and ready to take over the PG slot at 6'4...Happened with Halliburton.

Harris will be our PG.

I swear the same dumbass would disagree about what time it is, please enlighten me why Harris would transfer out of a starting position in his hometown if it wasn't to play PG.

I was told by CF insiders Buggs would be staying on the west coast...

To be fair...
Misery is in the SEC
Which shores on the Gulf of Mexico
Which is connected to the Pacific by the Panama canal
Which of course takes us to the state Kevin Bacon lives in.

Talented scoring guard Jose Perez has 10 possible options as to his next NCAA Basketball destination. Which of them are the best potential fits?
Few NCAA Basketball freshman had as a good a campaign as Jose Perez did with Gardner-Webb in 2018-19. The 6’5 guard averaged 15.1 ppg, along with a team-leading 5.7 rpg and 3.0 apg that season. As a sophomore, the guard put up similar stat lines (15.2 ppg, 6.5 rpg and 4.2 apg) compared to his freshman campaign. However, Perez’s efficiency took a massive dip, shooting just 34% from the field overall and 25% from three-point range. Even with the efficiency slide, the guard still managed to lead the team in all three major categories and has the size and capabilities to play multiple positions at a high-major level.

Crean to every recruit that shows interest...

I didn't think Crean was that way? I knew he is a little weird, but didn't think he was a cheater.

Jeremiah Francis is officially in the portal today, initial list isn't intimidating. We'll see if ISU gets linked soon.

@jakeweingarten North Carolina transfer and freshman Jeremiah Francis is officially in the transfer portal, a source told @Stockrisers. Several schools already planning on contacting him.

@jakeweingarten North Carolina transfer Jeremiah Francis has heard from BYU, TCU, New Mexico, Ohio University, Miami (OH), Northwestern and Cal-Berkeley since entering the portal, he told @Stockrisers.
Entered the portal last night, as we reported on @Stockrisers.

I like the idea of immediately eligible transfers, but it will probably end up ruining college basketball and just lead to “Super Teams” like the NBA has been.

I think it will create some crazy situations:
  • Mass transfers of entire rosters when a coach gets fired.
  • New coaches running off the majority of returning roster when a program stinks
  • Super Teams (players will recruit other players)
  • Proven upperclassman with jump to Elite programs to improve draft status. This applies to both P5 & mid-major type of kids. A kid like Garza, Weiskamp, Wiggington or Horton-Tucker could jump to a Kentucky or Duke. More national exposure & playing immediately at a Duke or Kentucky type program might make more sense than playing g-league.
Sadly, I think this could also lead to more payments to players and their handlers.

I think the one thing that could mitigate the situation somewhat is if the NBA would implement a multi-class minor league system when kids could get a sizable signing bonus and reasonable salary.
