I don't think the staff (or fans) should assume that Harris or any current sit out transfer will be eligible. Even though there have been rumors immediate eligibility could be voted on the NCAA decision are pretty random with their decisions.

They won’t have to make those decisions when the rule is passed.

If so, expect them to add another pg/combo.

Imo given what’s been stated in regards to the staff’s approach this spring, and their offers, they’re likely leaning to Harris being eligible, or at least were.

The staff is still active on the GT transfer market and if a quality guard becomes available I'd expect them to pursue.
Harris has only been available for 2 weeks and a Cyclone since Saturday, not sure how we can assume how that affects their plan 3 days later?

If they would have landed Turner or Aiken I would have expected them to go after Tyler regardless. The staff already had wanted him for 2 years and had 4 open scholly's sit out or immediately eligible.

It is too risky imo to depend on the NCAA to vote in June for immediate transfers this summer. I could just as easily see them delaying any decision for another year due to COVID as making one either way.

I didn't think Crean was that way? I knew he is a little weird, but didn't think he was a cheater.

1.)Harris has only been available for 2 weeks and a Cyclone since Saturday, not sure how we can assume how that affects their plan 3 days later?

Yes, they’re going to keep recruiting GTs, that’s without question.

1.) You think this staff learned of the Harris transfer the night it broke on Twitter? It’s likely they’ve long known it to be a strong possibility. What has possibly changed is the sentiment on the transfer rule, which is why I added the qualifier.

2.) pretty much the point in regards to adding another combo this spring for next year. They’re going to try and add another eligible player. Harris potentially not being eligible pretty much guarantees that, as would the fact they wanted one regardless of Harris (a player they likely knew would potentially become available).

The major thing is that if Harris isn’t viewed as likely eligible by the staff, it somewhat contradicts the notion we didn’t go after other guards for next year because of Harris. Of course, we don’t know if your assertion on that is correct. The whole “swinging for guys that will make an
Impact” and not offering certain guys suggests otherwise imo

Yes please!
I'll cut it short.

My brother is good friends with Cody Zeller, went to Indiana with him and hung out with him alot.

On Noah's OV, Noah had dinner with Crean at Crean's house. He told Crean that he was going to be a Buckeye, but he was waiting for the tOSU OV to commit. Crean told him to give Indiana one last look and to go hang out with the team.

Noah went with some of the players (not Zeller) to a sorority house. There, Noah proceeded to have a 10-way and then proceeded to ingest all sorts of chemicals. When Noah went back to Crean's house a few hours later, there was an IU duffle bag of money on the dinner table.

Vonleh committed on the spot.

My sources tell me that Crean has now turned it up to an 11-way to get the good recruits.

That story (Among a few other ones) is why I knew we have no chance at Sahvir Wheeler when Georgia got involved.
