fixedGood thing the Mets got those insurance runs in the top of the 9th.

Looks like Bryant should be back in. I was looking through the roster to try and see who would get sent back before I realized September starts Saturday, so Im assuming they will wait to activate him until then. "Kris Bryant a September call up" is not something I thought I would ever see.
******* Central, am I right?
Cubs are 8-2 in last 10, and have only gained a game on both the Cardinals and Brewers in the stretch (both 7-3).
Cardinals and Brewers have the 2nd and 3rd best records in the NL, while being 4.5 and 5 games back, respectively.
It's got to be frustrating for them too, though. They're running out of time.

2015 was probably worse. Cardinals won 100 games, Pirates won 98 and the Cubs won 97.
You know it’s tough when you win 98 games and end up in the one game wild card.
And had to duke it out amongst each other for one spot in the NLCS. At the time, I was mad that the wild card winner had to take on the Cardinals, and not a team with a worse record, but in hindsight, it was sweet beating the Cardinals in the playoffs. To make that even WORSE, those three teams were the top three records in the MLB. All in the same division

And the Brewers won and the Cardinals are most likely going to.Only give up 5 hits and lose.
