I love the Reds so much.

Emil Kush wore #29 for the Cubs from 1941-49. He missed three of those seasons serving in the Navy during WWII. Kush had two banner years right after the war in 1946-47 posting a 17-5 record with 7 saves and 2 complete games - one of which was a shutout. He pitched over 220 innings during that two year period.

The Reds and the Cardinal's have been thorns in the side of the Cub's all season, so this weekend was great. I'm just glad we don't have to see the Cardinal's until the last weekend of the season. Hopefully the Division is wrapped up by then.
