I love Bote, but he can’t play SS.

LF/RF? Should.

Bote has played 3B, 2B and SS in the minors. He can play 2nd. He would only play SS when Javy needs a day.

Shoulder injury's are tough and they take a long time to get over. Maybe a young guy like him will recover faster, but I'll be surprised if he is playing 100% this season...

I had shoulder surgery in late June and was pretty much 100% by Labor Day.
