*** Official 2015-16 NBA Playoff Thread ***

How fast would David Griffin (or Lebron...whoever's running the Cavs) say yes if the Celtics called dangling the third overall pick for Kevin Love? Does Danny Ainge even get out Love's full name first?

Is there anyone available with the 3rd pick who will be ready to contribute come May/June next year? I mean the Cavs are full on win now mode, I'd rather have some combo of Smart, Bradley or Crowder than the 3rd pick. The Cavs need guys who can contribute in the conference finals and beyond.

Whatever you think of LeBron, this is pretty neat.

He's leading almost every major statistical category other than blocks (in which he is 2nd behind Bogut's 2.0) during the finals.

They wouldn't have to keep the pick. They could flip it to another team for established players who could help right away. A third overall pick will be plenty valuable to teams looking to shed vets and kick-start a rebuild.

But then again Kevin Love might come off the bench and drop 20 tonight, and then all the trade chatter goes away until his next bad game.

It's pretty crazy that LeBron and Draymond play the most minutes and are top 3 in all those categories. Shocking stuff.

They'd take Simmons, Ingram, or Murray and not think twice about it.

I'm the minority in not being sold on Murray. He was too streaky for me at Kentucky.

Yeah I think he will be good but I don't think he'll be ready to play a major role on a title contender next year and Ingram and Simmons won't be there at three. It's a two played draft, the third pick alone isn't going to get Love.

Curry gets ridiculously easy lanes to the hoop sometimes from how far out he pulls the D along with the rest of his team.

It's one of the most unique things to watching these Warriors play, they talk about stretching the D but it's never so easy and gigantic to see as a spectator as with this team.

I bought into the Murray hype at the Pan Am games he played in before he even went to Kentucky. I watched a ton of the games cheering for Ejim. He was the best player as an 18 year old with a lot of the countries having older pros on their teams. Just being the best player on that USA team was impressive.

Oh I completely agree! That was the first time I was able to watch him truly play. And he was incredible. One of my best friends is a die hard UK fan and I kept on saying how Murray was going to take over the league and possibly win POY after that display, and he agreed. But maybe I just set my bar too high after seeing that performance. He was such a streaky shooter to me, and even when he had his good shooting games, he would disappear when they needed him most. That is just IMO though.

It's crazy Steph Curry has had the two seasons he's had and pretty much just been a typical player in a Finals...while still probably winning back to back finals. To me that's one of the more unique things about the Warriors run should they finish this off. I say that as a fan of the guy, I can't remember many other teams with the MVP that still coast to two finals victories getting a "meh" performance from the MVP.

I have never heard of a fan rushing the court during a game in the NBA, much less the NBA Finals. They are going to burn Cleveland to the ground. Martial law.

Cleveland with a pathetic effort in the second half. No defense, no rebounding, no offensive movement at all. They had Tristan Thompson on the bench for a long stretch and were killed on the boards. Terrible decision to keep him out that long.
