Not a BRE hater. Just understand that we’re in the third year of a rebuild and BRE is still sadly our second best big man.
Well I agree, and I think we all know that BRE isn't a good ft shooter, that doesn't mean he can't help us win a LOT of games.

It feels like there are a lot of fans on here who think we should be more offensively talented than we are. I think this current team is probably over-achieving a bit based on our ability to score points. We are probably ranked too high at 12th too. We picked up some great wins in the last few weeks, but that offensive performance against KU isn't really who we are.

Here’s my positive spin I guess. Tre was non existent, we couldn’t hit a damn free throw and had bad turnovers in big moments and still only lost by 2 on the road tonight. Curtis jones was t good either. Gilbert is finding his way like we all hoped and the team needs. They just have to start hitting free throw’s consistently better.

Offense was erratic and rebounding was trash. Defense wasn't terrible but it was the same 2-3 guys ******* uo consistently.

It was ugly. Easily the best part about the game was the 2nd half effort and the play drawn up by Otz at the end. Perfect play but Milan just took a step he didn't have time to make.

We don’t have to be horrendous at defending the 3…. TJ just chooses to be.

Why we double all the time is beyond me? If a team beats it, it’s a wide open 3 every time for the opposition. Almost every single Baylor 3 tonight was absolutely unguarded and wide open.
I don't know, maybe because it gets us the #3 defense in the country? Could be that

Not exactly sure.
Saw a quick replay and the ball left the shooters hand (when tre fouled him) with around 3.5 seconds left. That would have made a huge difference

Another positive note for those wanting to slit their wrists, we again forced a LOT of turnovers out of a top25 team on their home court.
Baylor - 20 turnovers. That is a recipe to be competitive in every game. That is how you have to play if you aren't overly talented scoring the ball.

To close out my comments, I think an airball straight out of bounds should be counted as 3 misses. And maybe a $200 fine. J/k

I have said this twice after hold on victories, and I will say this again tonight in defeat. This team does not panic, and I like that. They didn't play very well for long stretches, but they fought back and even executed a great play at the end that was just 0.01 off from counting. I can live with that, Let's Go State!

Definitely. All you are ever asking for on the road in the Big 12 is to be in a position to win the game at the end. We were.

Baylor AD spoke at the press conference, said they are the best basketball program in the country and deserves better than that. Says the Big 12 should be embarrassed by the refs.

I think compared to the previous 2 years we are much more talented offensively. But is that really saying much? :)
I mean those teams hovered in the high 40,to low 50's all too often.

You are right and I didn't even think about it at the time.

And Tamin's drive and score to tie it was very gutsy. Especially considering how bad the offense had been for the previous 6 minutes.
