NFL: ***Offical Week 1 NFL Gameday Thread***

I don't for one second believe the niners kick a field goal if it's 4th down and 1 though... you have frank gore in the backfield and Harbaugh is a gambling man... i'd say he goes for it....

A tie game in the second quarter...and it was fourth and 2. No way Harbough goes for it. Yeah, he's a gambling man, but too risky that early.

Clay matthews is a stud. Slams Kapernick to ground this does the "Aaron Rodgers belt move" right in his face.

Chiefs fans are priceless.
some chiefs fans are ok, it's the ones bragging they'll win the division after beating the worst team in the NFL (Jaguars) on a Denver message board. The chiefs fans that talk about the playoff loss to the Ravens are funny too since they haven't been to the playoffs since their blowout loss in 2010 to the Ravens. It doesn't fare well that Von will be playing for both Chiefs games unless injuries.

Yeah, he is so cool. That hit a few yards out of bounds on Kap really makes him a stud. What a dirty piece of crap.

He was not that far out. If you watch the replay, he was only a half step out of bounds and Clay was already air born. So you can dog him all you want but it wasn't as late as it looked at game speed.

One last statistic: Alex Smith's career record when the opponent scores at least 24 points: 2-27-1 also jordy nelson is pretty good.

Just down the ******* ball and take it at the 20. Now we have a long way to go and the crowd is going nuts
