Well, we won by 40 tonight and I started a thread like this a few days before that game...so might as well keep doing what works.

Montana State is a 4-1 team, will be 5-1 if they can hold onto a 13 pt lead tonight at home vs. San Francisco (who beat Colorado, FWIW), and their only loss was by 18 against Hawaii.

This will likely be one of our tougher non-conference games for contests amongst the so-called 'nobody' teams. Hopefully a game we can still win handily, but we will see what happens.

They are playing San Francisco tonight

Hopefully this is a fairly handy win, but I'm never confident until the run happens in the middle of the first half (usually) with this team.

I don't know anything about this team, other than what has been posted. From this information only, I am not at all concerned. My questionb though...does this team a "live by the 3, die by the 3 team"?

If so, that would be my ONLY cause for concern, and it's still not that big of one.

We could be, but we seem to love the dribble-drive as well. A lot of our threes are wide-open shots that should be fairly reliable.

39% of their points come via 3pt land. Compare that to 35% for us.

As long as they're open 3 point shots.....

Did they play at Hawaii? Maybe the travel was the reason they got handled, cause Hawaii is not a good team from what i know. Anyways, we thought Kennesaw would be somewhat tough since they beat Georgia Tech, and then a 40 point victory occurs. So who knows, i'll say Clones by 21 fwiw.

From what I've read on various preseason prediction blogs and articles, Montana State is another favorite to finish near, or at the top of the Big Sky Conference much like Northern AZ, Weber State, Northern Colorado and Portland State. Unlike N. AZ, the Bobcats are a young, but talented team. I like that ISU has a big edge in experience in the guard court, and that should carry the Cyclones to a not too difficult win at Hilton. Even so, the score should be closer than the last game vs. the Owls of Kenny State. ISU 83, Mt State 68.
