First, incredible work here. I love the helmet and jersey, but I'm not crazy about the pant stripes. There is no white anywhere else on the uniform, so the white in the stripe looks out of place. (maybe there is a white middle stripe on the helmet?)
I wonder what the pants would look like with Jack Trice stripes. Maybe they only go a quarter or half way up the pants? I don't know, it could look really bad, but I think it might look cool with the shoulder stripes.

I've come to the conclusion after reading this thread, the helmet and pants color needs to match for the uniform to look awesome. UNLESS, you have a neutral color helmet, like black or white.
Needless to say, our current uniforms are pretty terrible, but I do like the matte red helmet, white jersey and red pants. That looks sharp.

While I agree that's true for the most part, I still think this looks rather awesome:
Even less like USC & Iowa who have yellow pants.
Just the tri-stripe as current uniform (and probably would be more similar to the Earle Bruce-era look) -- thanks for the mocks.
while i like the idea i don't think the trice stripes look good with this combo. either use it as proposed originally or use trice uniforms. don't mix them.

Imo that's an incredible looking uni that would make us completely unique and identifiable nationally. It actually looks modern but has the tie in with our Jack Trice past and stadium name. Plus it would help get the Jack Trice story out there to the sports world as it should be. And the helmet with the real Cyclone on it is something we should not only have but would be the best looking helmet out there. Fantastic job and sure hope the football program takes advantage of your work and the pluses this uni would mean for the program.
I love the Trice stripes, but when they're on the pants I think of New Mexico State or one of those schools out there in BFE.
Yeah, I could live without them. Don't get me wrong- I love his story. But the guy does have a stadium named after him, does he have to be on the uniforms too?
I feel like maybe the white center stripe on the helmet doesn't belong if there's no white accent on the uniform anywhere. But I love the triple stripe on the helmet with the white down the middle. A single red stripe on a yellow or gold helmet just seems weird to me. I don't know why.

I love the stripes on the side. I can see the reserves some have, but it think they are so original. Those would be so great. Can you imagine new uniforms with the new stadium?
I like the triple stripe with white on the helmet and pants too, I just think the Trice stripes would make us have a really unique uni quickly identifiable with ISU. It also relates the uni with our stadium name and namesake, which I think is also a plus nationally. I'd be psyched to see either uni in the Jack this fall.
