NEW Star Wars Teaser!!!!

Luke would have kept it. Kylo may have stolen it from him. I'm betting Kylo was Luke's apprentice at one time.

You think Luke kept his fathers charred head? Could be, but seems a little weird to me to have a funeral pyre for your father and take a souvenir.

Uh oh, I forgot his body disappeard when he died. Take my Star Wars geek card.

Why is it weird? It's all that remains of his father in this plane of existence. It would also act as a token reminder of what may come to pass if he doesn't stay vigilant. It's in his blood.

It's also the only conclusion that makes any logical sense:

~Vader would have been presumed dead in the Death Star blast based on his last known whereabouts. The scrambling Imperials didn't seem too concerned with apprehending Luke in the hangar bay. It was every man for himself at that point.

~The funeral was obviously a private event. I doubt Luke would have revealed the event or location to anyone.

~I'm betting Luke, Leia, & Han kept their true relationship to Vader & each other a secret. This revelation would be great story material for our next trilogy: the galaxy's greatest heroes are also offspring of the the galaxy's greatest villain?? (Only the audience is privy to that information).

Star Wars just isn't that good and has been built up to this ridiculous unwarranted level by message board geeks like yourselves.

KIDDING OF COURSE!!!! That trailer got me so pumped I could already hear/feel the energy of the crowd in the theater the first time I see it. I find applause and cheers at most movies to be a little much but not Star Wars. JJ Abrams is the man for the job and will not let this suck!

Slimeball? They had what, one kiss in the entire trilogy, which came before they knew they were twins? Not exactly something I'd hold against him.

That said, Han is still the bigger badass. Not even close.

The dude let his "aunt & uncle" get cooked by stormtroopers because he was getting trippy with that old burnout hippie Obi.

I think it would be badass is Grand Admiral Thrawn shows up in episode seven.

I was such a monster fan starved for new content when those novels and Dark Empire comics dropped.

It's insane how much stuff there was from about 97-now compared to 85-96. That entire decade had less star wars items than a week's worth any time since.

Anybody ever wonder why Ben didn't change Luke's last name when he was a baby since they were trying to hide him from the Empire? He should have been Luke Lars.

He must have been pretty confident that it was like hiding a kid from Tokyo in Ottumwa,Iowa: City of Bridges.

Disney should just reboot 1-3. Get some actors that can actually act but use the same overall story arc with some tweaks.

I will promise to agree with you that the acting, and not the direction and story, was the problem, if, and only if, you can explain to me Palpatine's plan, and how his actions serve to advance it.

Or, you know, who the protagonist of Phantom Menace was.

Not sure why we should be sure Luke kept it. I mean, he burned it. I just assumed he left it on Endor.

one of the times that the prequel stupidity actually damages the original trilogy. By putting Anakin as a native of Tatooine, and having met Lars and Beru, the story shifts from Ben finding a remote place on the far rim to allow Luke to be raised like a normal kid (something no jedi was allowed to do) to Ben putting Luke on a platter for Vader as bait in a trap that Vader was too stupid to ever fall for.

Or wasn't dumb enough to fall for?
