New HP Printers

I've had a Epsom Ecotank for a while, just remember to print about once a month so the jets don't plug up.

That can be said on all printers. We sell a 35ml ethanol based ink cartridge for printing on wood items. The ethanol based ink prevents the ink from fading due to sunlight. We stress to our clients that if you are not going to use it for 6+ hours to remove and cap the ink to prevent it from drying out.

I have a Canon TS 9520 printer/scanner. I have noticed that if you don't use if for over a couple of weeks it will tend to dry up. The cleaning option does good job of getting them cleaned. I see plugging issues with the black ink as compared to the colored ones.

Exactly this. Infrequent printing actually helps make the case for laser. No worries about ink cartridges clogging up from infrequent use.

I also find it handy to have the scanner function a few times a year.

I didn't realize this until recently, but there are Apps that allow your cell phone to be a scanner. I am sure there are quite a few, but I used Microsoft Lens which is free & no sign-in. Allows to store document as PDF, Image.

Came in handy for me to return a signed lease to the property owner while I was on the road.

second-hand, desktop laser printer is the way to go for infrequent home printing. I have a 10+ year old HP I got for free that someone was otherwise going to throw out. Never had to change the toner, never had to maintain it at all in years. It just sits there for months at a time, prints one thing at some point, then sits for months again. It just works and costs nothing.

Find some way to get a used laser if you have basic printing needs you want handled at home. It's worth the effort.

I lived in MN for 10 years and never had to do this?
Sorry, it is only required if you have already filed your Federal return when you e file your state. If you file them together you don't have to send a paper copy.

I have always filed separately since I generally get a bit back from my Federal but owe some on my state. I get my refund from the Feds to cover what I owe the state (which I file in mid April).

Got it! Not doubting anything at all - was just hoping I hadn't screwed something up and they'd be coming after me at some point.

The scanning apps work well in most instances. But there are occasions where it is easier to get a quality scan from a dedicated scanner. And depending on what you are doing with the document, it can be convenient to scan it direct to my PC instead of my phone.

Why..? Is your library complete **** or overrun with vagrants or something? Takes me less than 2 minutes to do it at ours, don't have to talk to anyone. Easier than stopping at a gas station - weird take.
Printers are cheap and I just don’t need the hassle of going somewhere to do something I can do easier at home. I read 25-30 library books a year but all ebooks so I almost never physically go to the library. Maybe twice in the last 10 years.

I go to a gas station about once every couple months and I hate that too. I could do that easier from home with electric cars but replacing a car is a bit more expensive than replacing a printer.
