This type of facility upgrade will naturally make them a more attractive program to recruits and thus the days of Iowa counting on a late season win against MN, maybe over. As far as fighting for recruits, I'm not sure how many of the same kids both MN and ISU go after. This could make it a bit more challenging for us at least in that regard. Not sure though…they still have to sell a kid from the south on the joys of playing in the Minneapolis' cold in November. That's a tough enough sell in Ames.
