New Defensive commit

They also had a lot less money, lower facilities, and a worse conference to sell to recruits.

Yep. And that Arkansas win was in Fayetville no less. The Razorbacks went on to beat Ole Miss and LSU. I think Blum came out with a stat that it'd been something like 10 years since we'd beat a non-KU or Tech Big12 team on the road.

CPR had this little win in Austin, Texas and I don't think he was coaching 10 years ago? Didn't we also beat West Virginia out there in OT? Fact check please!

Not to mention beating Nebraska at Lincoln in 2009

I didn't say anything about CPR. But sorry it'd been so long since those wins that'd I'd forgotten. Not like they ended up being impressive either.

Your argument falls apart and you go with "2013 isn't recent?" It was two years ago, guy.

I guess we have two different opinions on what's recent. That was two full seasons ago, in a meaningless game I might add. I prefer to have at least one road win over a conference opponent other than KU in a season.

Iowa won more games this season than CPR did in three years.

Where's the 4 star guys? I said this before but last years class had 4 guys that were rated higher than anyone we have coming in right now. That's not to say this staff isn't doing a great job; it's just to say the negative attitude clouded everyone's judgement on the types of guy the last staff was getting.

I realize that and it's great but everyone acts like it's new and it's not. These are the guys that ISU has to get and I happen to think there is a bunch of them on the current roster. This is a Reggan Northrup or KCM type of recruit.

I hope no one took what I said as a negative toward what's going on. It's just interesting to me how the opinion changes when the reality didn't.

With Iowa schedule Rhoads would be going to bowls every year andpraised as being an incredible coach.

who did Iowa beat again? An overated northwestern team? Good grief. Play somebody.

He should have just come, I agree.

This new DE looks unbelievable in his highlight tape. One of the best films I have ever watched from an ISU pledge.

My question now is what are the chances he sees the field in his true freshman season?

I wouldn't have a probably with him burning a RS and saying lets get him rushing the passer when need be (ie 3rd and longs/obvious passing downs).

Just think, if Nerness comes along well we could be in for a REAL TREAT!
