NCAA BASKETBALL CORRUPTION SCHEME

So will the families that accepted the brown paper bags be getting a letter from the IRS?

The Taxman usually is pretty upset when you do not report $100,000+ of income, to be fair. They are even nice and give you that "Other" box on your tax return to report it. Long as you put it down and pay the taxes on it, no real questions asked...

Type: Bribery
Amount: $100k

Do you need to pay self employment taxes on that?

Always pay the shakedown money. Unless you want real trouble.

Got to hand it to Jake Sullivan. Pretty much laid it out a year or two ago about the control of the AAU system and how much depends on what shoe company your school is contracted.

Cases like this have to literally end up in the G-men lap before they turn off the porn and do something.

I'm just joking. Bad joke. I just assume we've done something crooked in the last 17 years.

Hard to imagine somebody at the high-major level who would not have. Seventeen years is enough time for several coaching staffs for most schools, too.
