NBA: *** NBA Playoffs Thread V2.0 ***

My favorite part of the game is when LeBron was glossing himself to the crowd while the other nine players were on the other end of the court playing. I love stuff like that.

You mean the same way Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson and Charles Barkley and Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal and Kevin Garnett and....

You're probably right. I attended to Shaq's championship rally in Orlando before he ever suited up for them, he was the most gifted draft pick ever and a championship was in the bag. Then I attended another championship rally when LA signed him.

There are no varying degrees of arrogance in this world, every star player has been as arrogant as this bunch.

Oh man, that's embarrasing. He didn't even win one for them!

Not sure if serious. Shaq had championship rallies...AFTER winning titles. Miami is always going to have one more championship rally than actual championships.

Oh, must have misread your post, I thought you said you attended one in Orlando for Shaq.

spurs didn't expect LeBron-Chalmers pick and roll game. I also would bet Parker-Duncan and Ginobili won't play anywhere as bad as that in the rest of the series.

Ginobili's minutes need to go down and have Green play even more to stretch the floor out

That is actually the only adjustment that I don't think Pop can make. They were just able to get deeper and deeper with it because Chalmers has made enough jumpshots so far you have to guard him out to 22 feet.

The only thing we have to see is if Chalmers continues shoot that way.

I really thought last night was more Spurs than Heat. They were incredibly loose with the ball, how many to's did Manu have where he just lost the ball. Tim couldn't buy a shot, and Tony didn't adjust to the officiating at all.

Other than Kawaii, and Danny Green, the Spurs were bad. Yet they had made enough 3's to actually be ahead with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter.

Then Pop decided to replace Tony with Neal, and he became Mr turnover for the next 3 1/2 minutes. Joseph played nervous in game 1, but you have to have a primarily ball handler on the floor with Neal But the Spurs played a real poor game, other than Danny Green, and Kawall Leonard.

Game 3 is the series. Should be interesting to see how much Mr HGH, Dewayne Wade, can give the Heat. And if their role players can knock down 3's on the road.

Spurs are getting nice leads, and then they revert to tail between their legs mode and let Miami back in the game. Stupid turnovers that lead to easy buckets for Miami and missed shots from point blank. Need to fix that in the 2nd half.
